I kept working that damaged skin… Vallejo ROSE BROWN and MAGENTA, tried a first wash of ICE YELLOW on the fat tissue, and discovered there are tons of really small larvae, about three milliliters long, festering those areas… That and how deep the folds of ripped flesh hang! I’ve never seen such detail! How old is this sculpt!? I know Nurgle is forgiving… Maybe even for sculptures, but seriously… This thing is amazing!
I forgot to mention, the horns were based with GW’s STORMVERMIN FUR and for bones, nails and teeth, I went with ZANDRI DUST.
Still some to go, but skin is almost 90% full ass-face stage completed, but not really… I haven’t touched the pustules yet, but for the most unflattering stage, and considering the theme… I like what I see, so far!

Nice- the larval bugs are a really good touch for the model.
Cheers,
Pete.

There’s some good to be said about the quality of those ForgeWorld models! They must be using some soft molds because it goes beyond what you could achieve with two parts… Many of the holes are connected, with the skin “floating” above… Some of that seems more “printed”, than something that came out of a mold! Were it not for the obvious (and pretty awful) middle seam.
