I’m selling more stuff… It’s bitter-sweet, but clearly necessary! It will help me keep moving forward, both with hobby-cash and physical room to display them. Last time I tried with the Nurgle Daemons and Orks, but it didn’t work out. Not for a lack of trying! And I have to thank this community of bloggers, we got here, for some heart-worming shout-outs, then! This other lots seem more attractive, apparently!
Missus is ecstatic about it, also. She’s really NOT into Nurgle.

I admit parting with the Indomitus Mentors was not an easy choice… But I imagined they could feel current and catch some eyes. So far, so good!

I just might have gone ahead and joined a team to participate in my first mini-GT of 40K… I mean… the hubris! After just two casual friendly games! In my whole life! (There are some really nice people out there, in my local scene for this hobby, clearly…) Imagine the burden! They are super-competitive players and list-builders, mind you… I will be taking my fully painted (got that part) Adepta Sororitas flower-power list, that I really need to simplify for the date.
On that last game, (my second) and first with the nuns, I played against Imperial Knights, and managed to somehow win by points, at the demonstration game we played for our community center. How having maybe ten infantry standing, on what feels like the “Thunder-dome”, surrounded by four mammoths the size of buildings, can be called a victory? Anyways… My opponent was kind enough to carry the weight of not only the titans, but the actual showcase of the game we were supposed to be doing for the interested youth and fellow geeks, together with actually helping me learn to play… and basically carry me through to his own defeat. Top person!

Reblogged this on Azazel's Bitz Box. and commented:
Not me selling off any of my models – but blog-friend Túbal Villar is selling off part of his collection, so I thought I’d offer a signal boost for him – check out his models, and if they strike your fancy, then mayhap check them out on the eBay!

So far, so good! Can’t blame people for not wanting what I didn’t either! But this ones got some love in them!

Not sure that I could bring myself to sell off my miniatures, especially ones as nicely painted as yours are. Sometimes it’s got to be done though eh? Best of luck with the auctions, I’m sure you’ll find a good new home for them. 🙂

Not going to deny it took a bit of persuasion… But they are not hard to find if I ever so wished to! I got a lot of practice doing them, and being subscribed to that Imperium magazine, I might have a second chance at doing them better! Death Guard Characters and the tricycle are goners, but got more cultists and troopers on sprue if I’m ever so inclined.

Sorry to hear that you are shedding part of your collection.
Your game against the Knights sounds fun though… bet they were tough to take down.
Cheers,
Pete.

It’s alright! I need the excuse, the room and the cash to get a bunch of new ones. It was pretty fun, that game… Although I was barely conscious of what was I supposed to be doing at every turn! Both Morvenn Vahl and the Repentias were top.

Good luck on the sale, mate. Sometimes you have to sell stuff off to move forward and I hope you’re able to find a good buyer for this part of your collection!

Thanks! It’s looking good! Was sure the magnetized Indomitus would be the star of the show… But the Death Guard lot seems to be attracting the most action!
