Because electro-whipping semi-naked chainsword-wielding nuns counts as cheerleading in the forty-first millennium, I guess!
The lack of “snafu” on this ten (*twelve) sisters (+ flying cyborg baby), allowed them to be finished pretty fast! Got the scheme clear and it was a matter of just doing it! And for once in some time, I did not botch the texture with cheap (big flaked) metallic spray as a base, nor Turpentine gunking the clear-coats or anything! I got myself some white spirit, this time… and it works so much better!
I chopped some arms, and magnetized their heads and backpacks, too… So they are not that monopose anymore! Their “pose” itself is fixed, but being able to turn heads, shoulders and exchange gear, gets the most out of them! They didn’t come out as flexible as the boxed squad sisters… (some of those upper arms were too imbedded on their torso) so some got their magnet at the elbow, instead of shoulder. That makes a couple of them not being able to wield say heavy weapons… or some other arms I have as a single piece, but it just works for all the main options and special weapons.
I fell for that “Imperium”/”Conquest” subscription thingy… So I expect more of this ladies!
On the painting side, I was very happy with the transitions achieved by the seven different spray-cans on the main red armor, and I barely touched it beyond that. Only to fix some spots where I inevitably had some loss of brush-control and splattered some other color “outside the lines”.
WIP:
Their forces are growing at a steady pace!
Great stuff – these Sisters are coming along very well. 🙂

Thanks! At this point I think they rival Nurgle in number? Missing some big pieces… But got some tanks lined up!
